Meet Lauren J. Shanard, D.D.S.

Cosmetic Dentist Williston, Vermont

A Word from Dr. Lauren Shanard

I am Dr. Lauren J. Shanard, a general dentist with a busy, quality-focused private practice in Williston, Vermont. My specialty is creating healthy, beautiful, distinctive smiles for the faces of Vermonters. I have a passion for excellence and artistry in dentistry, and over the course of more than 20 years, I have created some of the most beautiful smiles in our communities. Above all else, I am driven by the desire to give my patients the exceptional care that they deserve! I perform dentistry of all types, from the simplest to the most complex, on patients of all ages. Whether you require general dental treatments such as root canal therapy or extraction, a complex dental implant procedure, or a complete smile makeover, it will be my pleasure to provide you with exceptional care and a gentle hand. The dentistry done in my practice always has an aesthetic focus.

Many people do not realize that any dentist can say that he or she is a cosmetic dentist. Most dentists who advertise cosmetic dentistry services, however, do not have the proper training to design a smile that is unique to each patient, let alone craft restorations that truly mimic nature. This is an art form with a skill set that requires extensive specialized training.

When it comes to selecting a dentist to improve the health and beauty of your smile, you should always make sure that he or she is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. And in the state of Vermont, there is and always has been only one accredited cosmetic dentist: Lauren J. Shanard, D.D.S. She is among an elite group of only 350 dentists worldwide to have received this prestigious accreditation.
